Jadon Sancho Sparks European Interest as Two Top Clubs Circle Man United's Outcast Star

The ongoing speculation surrounding Jadon Sancho's career trajectory remains a hot topic, as both Juventus and Fenerbahçe are reportedly considering making moves for the Manchester United attacker.
Chelsea decided to pay a £5 million ($6.8 million) penalty to cancel the £25 million ($34.1 million) mandatory purchase option included in their 2024–25 loan deal. This decision followed their inability to reach a contractual agreement with Sancho, whose wage demands proved problematic.
Given that a return to the Manchester United first team appears improbable, another summer departure seems likely if a mutually beneficial arrangement can be structured.
The Telegraph reports that José Mourinho's Fenerbahçe have made "inquiries" regarding Sancho's availability. The 25-year-old forward has been a topic of "discussion" among executives at the Turkish club, who have endured the disappointment of finishing second in the Süper Lig behind Galatasaray for two consecutive seasons.
The main obstacle in any negotiations would center on whether the arrangement involves a permanent transfer or temporary loan. The latter option might necessitate United, who understandably favor a permanent sale, to cover part of Sancho's salary obligations.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are also "pursuing" Sancho and have arranged a video conference with Manchester United representatives to "assess the viability" of acquiring his services. The Italian powerhouse suddenly requires additional wing options, given that Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula are preparing for a £20 million ($27.2 million) summer transfer to Nottingham Forest.
Napoli had previously been linked with interest, which reportedly aligns with Sancho's personal preferences.
Sancho would likely embrace the opportunity to compete internationally. He departed Manchester City's youth system at just 17 years old to join Borussia Dortmund and rapidly established himself as one of Europe's most promising talents through an impressive tally of goals and assists—73 contributions in 77 appearances during his first two complete senior campaigns.
Currently, five English players are competing in the Süper Lig—Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Andros Townsend, John Lundstram, Alex Pritchard, Marc Bola—while Serie A features up to 15 British players, including Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Lofus-Cheek, Dele Alli and Scott McTominay.
