Jadon Sancho's Manchester United Departure Stalls as Top Clubs Pull Back

Manchester United must remain patient regarding a potential permanent sale of Jadon Sancho to Juventus, according to recent reports, as the Italian giants have yet to make a final decision on pursuing the deal.
Chelsea chose to pay a penalty clause during the summer transfer window to avoid their obligation to sign Sancho permanently after his loan spell at Stamford Bridge, following unsuccessful negotiations over personal terms with the England international. This development left Sancho's career path in limbo, though Juventus subsequently showed interest.
Discussions regarding a complete transfer to end Sancho's association with United seemed promising, but Sky Sports reports that complications have emerged following Juve's acquisition of Francisco Conceiçao.
Conceiçao spent last season on loan from Porto but has now secured a permanent €32 million (£27.8 million, $37.6 million) move to Turin. Despite continued interest in Sancho, this purchase has consumed a significant portion of Juve's transfer funds, meaning player departures are now essential to facilitate the deal.
Consequently, the proposed move is currently 'on hold' until Juventus can generate the necessary funds through sales.
The Italian club expects to receive approximately €10 million (£8.7 million, $11.7 million) from Samuel Mbangula's transfer to Werder Bremen, while Timothy Weah and Nico González remain available for purchase. Juventus are seeking €20 million (£17.3 million, $23.5 million) for Weah, who has attracted interest from Marseille.
Italian media reported earlier this month that Juventus had submitted a €15 million (£13 million, $17.5 million) bid for Sancho, though Manchester United value the player at £25 million ($33.9 million).
United have invested £133.5 million ($180.7 million) this summer on signings including Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. However, player sales are believed necessary to increase the transfer budget for additional acquisitions. Marcus Rashford has joined Barcelona on loan with a purchase option for next summer, while Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia continue to face uncertain situations.
