Real Madrid's midfield star Jude Bellingham acknowledged that choices concerning Xabi Alonso's position on the sidelines are determined "well beyond" the players' influence, while emphasizing that the squad remains "unified" in supporting their coach.
Following a disastrous November that saw Los Blancos lose their La Liga leadership and secure victory in only one of five matches across all tournaments, Alonso unexpectedly came under scrutiny despite orchestrating an almost flawless beginning to the 2025–26 campaign.

He maintains tremendous positivity, serves as an uplifting presence, and we're collaborating toward improvement. My relationships with teammates and Vini Jr remain excellent. Should any issues arise, we address them through dialogue. Our backing for the coach is absolute."
Vinicius Jr has failed to score in his previous 15 matches wearing the white jersey. The winger's on-field difficulties and off-field behavior have resulted in the Bernabéu crowd expressing their displeasure toward the club's former poster boy.
