YouTube sensation KSI is set to create a documentary series documenting his acquisition of English non-league club Dagenham & Redbridge.
It has been announced that KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, has become part of the ownership consortium at the English sixth-division team, promising to recreate the magic from his popular video series, 'Race to Division One,' which followed his quest for glory on FIFA 12 and attracted millions of YouTube viewers.
For this latest venture, KSI will collaborate with production house After Party Studios to develop a documentary series called 'Race To The Top' that will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the non-league football club and follow the model established by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's 'Welcome to Wrexham.'
"This represents something truly significant for me," KSI explained. "For supporters who have followed me since 'Race to Division One,' this marks a complete journey—from fantasizing about football in the digital world to actually acquiring a real club.
"Working again with Ben [Doyle] and After Party Studios makes this even more meaningful. He's documented every triumph and setback, and I'm thrilled for him to join this incredible adventure at Dagenham & Redbridge alongside me."
Doyle, who goes by RVBBERDUCK, previously created a documentary about KSI's boxing career titled KSI: Can't Lose.
"When KSI phoned me on a wet Sunday morning last November announcing he was purchasing a football club, I realized I needed to be there to document it," Doyle explained.
"When we filmed 'KSI: Can't Lose' in 2018, I recorded as he transformed an entire sport—this feels like coming full circle as once again we face what appears to be an impossible task. This series will provide unprecedented access as we follow the ups and downs of his mission to bring the Daggers to the Premier League."

Remaining true to his YouTube origins, the complete series will premiere on the KSI YouTube channel this summer.
The KSI channel currently has more than 17 million subscribers, while the 32-year-old's combined following across other social media platforms nearly doubles that figure.
'Race To The Top' will feature subtitles in 14 different languages to ensure global accessibility for international audiences.
Filming for the series has already begun and will continue this Saturday when Dagenham & Redbridge take on Dorking Wanderers, marking KSI's first public appearance since taking on his ownership position.
