Speculation about Barcelona potentially seeking attacking reinforcements this summer has been persistent, but they seem destined to remain in limbo while awaiting clarity from Lewandowski, who appears unhurried about determining whether to extend his stay or explore other opportunities.
"The positive aspect is that I'm not under any pressure," he shared with Sky Sports. "At 30 or several years younger, this situation would feel completely different. 'I need to know where I'll be playing.' But right now, I don't need that certainty. I can afford to be patient.
"I'm allowing myself approximately three months to determine my preferred path. Just me, making this choice alone."

While it would be excessive to claim Hansi Flick has completely lost confidence in Lewandowski, it's undeniable that the Barcelona manager is increasingly open to alternative attacking options, frequently placing his trust in the adaptable Ferran Torres as an alternative.
