Liverpool Receives Major Boost as Alexander Isak Returns to Training Following Injury Recovery

Liverpool supporters witnessed Alexander Isak's debut training session with the club on Tuesday, marking the record signing's first appearance at the training ground.
The £125 million ($169 million) acquisition officially completed his move to Liverpool following a dramatic summer transfer saga that concluded in the final moments of transfer deadline day. Upon finalizing his lucrative contract, Isak departed to link up with the Swedish national team for September's international fixtures.
Jon Dahl Tomasson emphasized that Isak was far from match-ready after his summer of self-imposed isolation from football activities. The Sweden manager gave his leading striker just 18 minutes of action in Monday evening's 2–0 loss to Kosovo, and within two days he was training at the Kirkby facilities.
Beyond witnessing Isak's presence, Liverpool fans might have been equally pleased to see Jeremie Frimpong's participation. The £29.5 million summer acquisition from Bayer Leverkusen was spotted moving around with his characteristic energetic pace following his injury layoff.
The speedy defender was absent from Liverpool's closing two August fixtures after sustaining a hamstring injury just one hour into his Premier League bow. With Conor Bradley also recovering from a muscle problem, Arne Slot had to deploy central midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai in the defensive line.
This positional adjustment proved highly effective, as the industrious Hungarian readily accepted his new defensive responsibilities while maintaining the fitness to support Liverpool's forward movements. It was Szoboszlai's brilliant free kick that settled a tight encounter with Arsenal two weeks prior.
Bradley made his return to the substitutes' bench for that match and was considered healthy enough to represent Northern Ireland during this international window. The dedicated international started against Luxembourg the previous week and completed the entire 90 minutes in a 3–1 loss to Germany, which was coincidentally sealed by another free kick from a Liverpool player, this time Florian Wirtz.
Isak and Frimpong will have the opportunity to integrate with their new colleagues later this week before making the trip to Burnley on Sunday.
