Liverpool Star Gets Emotional Diogo Jota Tattoo to Honor Teammate

Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas has unveiled his new tattoo honoring teammate Diogo Jota, who sadly passed away in a vehicle collision this month along with his brother André Silva.
The club has permanently retired Jota's No.20 jersey and created a special 'Forever' section on their squad webpage for the Portuguese striker, with memorial tributes continuing as the upcoming Premier League campaign approaches.
Tsimikas has now shown his personal tribute, getting inked with a dedication to Jota.
"Wish you were here," the hand tattoo displays, featuring Jota's No.20.
Both Tsimikas and Jota arrived at Liverpool during summer 2020, and the Greek fullback shared how they developed a strong bond, as mentioned in his earlier tribute post this month.

"We joined the club during the same timeframe," he expressed. "We were both newcomers to the city. We experienced and celebrated some of our career's greatest achievements side by side.
"During one of our final matches together, you told me, 'You cross, I score' and that's exactly what took place. We shared laughter and countless conversations.
"You were an exceptional footballer, an incredible person, a genuine legend Diogo. Your memory will live on and you'll always be cherished.
"My thoughts and prayers go out to your [wife] Rute, your sons, your daughter, your loved ones and all who cared for you both and awaited your safe return. You and your brother André will be remembered always."
