Liverpool Unveils Eye-Catching Third Kit That Will Dominate the 2025–26 Season

Liverpool have revealed their fresh third strip for the 2025–26 campaign, adding to the range of retro jerseys launched featuring the adidas Originals Trefoil emblem.

A sea green foundation takes cues from some of the iconic Liverpool jerseys from the early Premier League era, while the classic club emblem sits prominently on the front for the first time since 1992, one year following the previous Trefoil launch for Liverpool.

Completing the design are white shorts featuring green details, incorporating both the club insignia and Trefoil, along with matching green socks.

Supporters have been enthusiastically anticipating the launch of this third strip, which arrives as part of a broader apparel collection. Practice gear, Terrace Icons fashion items and even a bespoke Liverpool Gazelle sneaker decorated in team colors all appear in the range.

Juergen Rank, Senior Design Director at adidas, commented: "With this Third Kit, we aimed to develop something that honors Liverpool's remarkable legacy while maintaining a distinctly contemporary feel.

"The comeback of the Trefoil for the first time in more than thirty years represents a significant milestone, and when combined with the legendary crest from 1987–1992, the design transforms into a genuine tribute to history. Merged with the Sea Green palette, which takes inspiration from some of the most unforgettable LFC adidas strips, we've crafted a style that feels both sentimental and striking, ideal for the field and the stands."

The previous occasion Liverpool utilized this emblem was during the final season of the pre-Premier League period. It turned out to be a disappointing season in the First Division but, under the guidance of manager Graeme Souness, the Reds cruised to FA Cup triumph.
