Liverpool continue their unbeaten run under Andoni Iraola this season, but a trip to the Spaniard's former stomping ground at Bournemouth poses a serious threat to that record.

A single victory at Ipswich Town has been bookended by disappointing draws against lesser opposition, though they have claimed wins over Atlético Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in cup competitions.
Liverpool secured their Carabao Cup fourth round berth with a 3–1 defeat of Spurs on Tuesday, with Iraola ringing the changes across his starting XI for that game. Having leaned on youth and fringe players at Anfield, he is expected to field a more recognizable side on his return to the south coast.
Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs. Bournemouth
GK: Alisson—It has been a somewhat inconsistent campaign for Alisson so far. The Brazilian has produced some characteristically brilliant stops, yet some questionable judgment has slightly eroded the commanding presence he once exuded.
RB: Ronald Araújo—Liverpool's thin defensive cover meant Araújo played the full 90 minutes in the Spurs win, this time filling in at his favored center-back position. However, the Uruguayan is set to return to the right side against Bournemouth.
CB: Jérémy Jacquet—Fans have been hugely impressed by Jacquet's displays in the early stages of his Liverpool career. The Frenchman looks remarkably assured for a 21-year-old adapting to a new league and country.
CB: Virgil van Dijk—Iraola managed something on Tuesday that Arne Slot seldom achieved last season: handing Van Dijk a rest. The 35-year-old requires careful management after logging 55 appearances in the previous campaign.
LB: Milos Kerkez—Following Kostas Tsimikas's woeful first-half showing in last weekend's goalless stalemate with Fulham, Iraola is well aware that Kerkez is his only viable left-back option this season—regardless of current form.
CM: Dominik Szoboszlai—The Hungarian came off the bench to unleash an absolutely breathtaking, Steven Gerrard-esque long-range thunderbolt against Tottenham. Liverpool will be hoping for more of that Szoboszlai brilliance this weekend.

CM: Alexis Mac Allister—After chipping in with another goal and assist in midweek, Mac Allister simply has to be in the starting lineup against Bournemouth. The Argentine has been outstanding this season, and Liverpool looked completely toothless in midfield when Ryan Gravenberch was preferred over him against Fulham.
RW: Bradley Barcola—Iraola has yet to settle on a permanent right-winger solution from his left flank options, but Barcola filled the role against Atléti and brings relevant experience from his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
AM: Florian Wirtz—Questions still linger around Wirtz, whom Liverpool supporters expected to hit the ground running under Iraola. The German is in desperate need of a standout, match-defining performance.
LW: Cody Gakpo—Gakpo contributed to two more goals in midweek, including an impressive finish from a tight angle. Liverpool are enormously grateful they resisted selling the Dutchman in the closing stages of the transfer window.
ST: Alexander Isak—Four goal contributions across six matches is a clear improvement on last season's output. The Swede must now demonstrate consistency, particularly given Liverpool's limited options at center forward.
