Manchester City are investigating a potential transfer for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as they brace for several offensive player exits, according to recent reports.

With the transfer window having three weeks remaining, City have finalized an agreement to send Jack Grealish on loan to Everton, while Savinho could also depart following interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Nottingham Forest are nearing completion of a £20 million ($26.9 million) acquisition of attacking midfielder James McAtee, and these three potential exits would create an attacking void for City while providing substantial transfer funds.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Rodrygo represents the "ideal" signing for City boss Pep Guardiola, with the Premier League champions contemplating an audacious bid before the window shuts.

Madrid have consistently communicated to Rodrygo that he can depart this summer provided an adequate offer materializes. A valuation of €100 million (£86.7 million, $116.5 million) has been established, though other sources suggest a reduced fee might be possible if Rodrygo actively seeks a transfer.
