2026–27 Champions League Confirmed Teams

The full field of 36 clubs for the 2026–27 edition will be finalized after the playoffs, with seven berths still to be decided.

The Premier League and La Liga lead the way in terms of representation, each contributing five clubs to the league phase. Among those 10 sides, six—Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atlético Madrid—will be placed in Pot 1.

Last season's runners-up Arsenal have overtaken Borussia Dortmund in the coefficient rankings to secure a spot in the top pot. Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Inter Milan round out Pot 1 alongside those six clubs.

Europa League champions Aston Villa land in Pot 2, courtesy of their quarterfinal run in this tournament two years prior. Roma and Real Betis, both ending lengthy spells away from the Champions League, also find themselves in Pot 2.

The 2026–27 league phase draw is scheduled for Aug. 27—the day following the conclusion of the playoffs.

The automated ceremony will be held at UEFA's base in Nyon, Switzerland, with proceedings expected to begin at 5 p.m. BST, 12 p.m. ET, 9 a.m. PT.
