Manchester United have brought key players Lisandro Martínez and Patrick Dorgu along as part of a 25-man squad that has headed to Ireland for an "intensive" midseason training camp this week.
It represents a notable boost for interim boss Michael Carrick, as it indicates both players should be fit for the closing stages of the season following their recent injury struggles. Diogo Dalot, however, has not made the trip.
The Portuguese international has featured in every United fixture—starting the majority of them—since a brief injury-related spell out in September. He has been left behind due to illness, with veteran third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton also staying in Manchester for the same reason.

Martínez, who was sidelined for much of the 2025 calendar year due to an ACL injury, has been absent since the stalemate against West Ham United on Feb. 10 with a calf problem. Dorgu has been out even longer, with the wide player missing the last eight Premier League matches after picking up an injury during January's victory over Arsenal.
The Danish international has returned to outdoor training, and his inclusion in this camp should help him make further progress on his path back to full fitness.
Dorgu appeared to be one of the standout beneficiaries of the Carrick era, deployed in a more advanced wide attacking role and netting in both historic consecutive wins over Manchester City and the Gunners. His hamstring problem in the latter game was considered a major setback for the side, given his form and United's shortage of a natural option on that flank.
Man Utd's 25-Player Midseason Training Camp Squad
Matthijs de Ligt, sidelined with a back injury since early December, is not in attendance. BBC Sport has reported that the Dutchman has yet to resume "meaningful" training, suggesting his comeback is still some way off.
United's U21s are taking part in the Premier League International Cup—facing Real Madrid Castilla in Tuesday's quarterfinal—which likely accounts for the absence of players such as Jack Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, Tyler Fredricson, Chido Obi and Shea Lacey.
A number of other academy players have been called up in their place.
Why Do Man Utd Have a Training Camp in April?

The straightforward answer is that the opportunity is there. United's fixture list, which would typically be packed at this stage of the season due to involvement in multiple competitions, is unusually sparse.
The absence of any European football this season, coupled with early eliminations from both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, has resulted in just a 40-game campaign—the club's lightest schedule since 1914–15.
United's most recent outing—a 2–2 draw with Bournemouth in the Premier League—took place on Friday, March 20. An international break followed straight after, while there were no Premier League games the previous weekend as the schedule was suspended for the FA Cup quarterfinals.
The club's next fixture is on Monday, April 13, when they host Leeds United at Old Trafford.
While the lengthy break offers some benefits, going without competitive matches for extended periods can also be detrimental due to a drop in match sharpness. That is why the club has described this training camp as "intensive," aiming to replicate the demands of match play as closely as possible.
United will need to stay sharp through the final weeks of the Premier League season. The Red Devils currently occupy third place in the standings and are strong contenders to secure a spot in next season's Champions League.
