Man Utd Zero In On PSG Star as Striker Hunt Intensifies

Manchester United have allegedly targeted Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani as they continue their pursuit of a center-forward.
The availability of genuine No. 9 options is becoming limited for Manchester United this transfer window. The Red Devils have already lost out on Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitiké and Viktor Gyökeres, who all joined Premier League competitors Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal respectively.
Ruben Amorim's team has also been connected with Christopher Nkunku, though he operates more effectively on the flank or in an attacking midfield role. The Chelsea attacker would not genuinely address the striker void for Manchester United.
With the 2025–26 Premier League campaign beginning in just over three weeks, Manchester United face mounting urgency to resolve their No. 9 shortage. According to ESPN, the English club is considering unsettled forward Kolo Muani.
The PSG attacker, who completed the latter portion of last season on loan with Juventus, is allegedly not part of Luis Enrique's future plans. Since arriving at the French club before the 2023–24 campaign, Kolo Muani has managed only 11 goals across 54 matches.

Despite his underwhelming output for PSG, the 26-year-old netted 10 times in 22 outings during his temporary spell at Juventus. Kolo Muani also participated for the Italian club at this summer's FIFA Club World Cup, where he contributed two goals and one assist in Juventus's journey to the round of 16.
The France international "has no desire to remain" at PSG and could represent a viable target for Manchester United, whether via a loan arrangement or a permanent acquisition that would require the English side to pay approximately €50 million (£43.4 million; $58 million).
While Kolo Muani lacks the scoring statistics of Ekitiké or Gyökeres, he brings valuable experience competing across three of Europe's premier five leagues as a natural No. 9. He has also earned 31 caps for the French national squad over the past three years, netting nine times in the process.
In comparison to the underperforming Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund, who managed just seven league goals between them last season, Kolo Muani represents an improvement who could spearhead Amorim's revamped offensive unit that now features Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
