Man Utd's Defense Crumbles as Key Player Falls Injured Before Blockbuster Liverpool Showdown
Manchester United face another injury concern during the international window after Ayden Heaven picked up a knock while representing England's Under-20 side on Friday.
The Young Lions suffered a 1-0 defeat to Switzerland's Under-20 team at St George's Park, with Heaven being one of four United academy players selected in Ben Futcher's squad. The defender encountered a fitness problem during the opening period and was substituted at the interval.
Heaven required extensive medical attention on the field and, although he managed to complete the first 45 minutes, the 19-year-old was replaced by Crystal Palace's Eyimofe Jemide when the teams returned for the second half.
Futcher remained hopeful regarding Heaven's condition in his post-game comments, though he couldn't provide detailed information about the player's problem.
"He sustained something," explained the England Under-20s manager. "I believe it's not overly concerning but we'll need to monitor how it develops."
Amorim Concerned About Heaven's Availability for Liverpool Clash

Ruben Amorim will be anxious about the situation ahead of United's forthcoming Premier League encounter against bitter rivals and current title holders Liverpool next weekend, as the Portuguese manager is already dealing with multiple defensive injuries.
Lisandro Martínez continues his extended absence having been sidelined since February, while Noussair Mazraoui is also questionable for the Anfield fixture after missing the 2-0 victory over Sunderland prior to the international break.
England's Under-20s have completed their October fixtures, which should give Heaven an opportunity to recover before the Liverpool encounter. While he's not expected to be in the starting lineup, he would offer valuable squad coverage if available.
Heaven has featured twice for United's first team this campaign, though his only start came in the disappointing loss to Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup.
