Manchester City Unveils Eye-Catching Away Kit That's Already Breaking the Internet for 2025-26 Season
Manchester City have revealed their brand-new PUMA away jersey for the 2025–26 campaign, drawing design elements from the club's original shirt dating back to 1884.
City has recently announced a fresh 10-year collaboration with PUMA that is believed to represent the most valuable kit production agreement in Premier League history, worth an impressive £1 billion ($1.3 billion).
The inaugural launch following this partnership announcement features this remarkable new away uniform, featuring an all-black design that echoes the earliest documented kit in the club's heritage.
Shimmering highlights and silver finishing touches complement a classic collar featuring white edging, crafted to blend historical and contemporary styling elements in a deliberate tribute to the club's legacy.
"Recreating Manchester City's earliest-documented kit represented a unique privilege for us, as few would realize that black served as the Club's original color, and we're passionate about honoring the heritage and character of our partner Clubs and their distinctive qualities," stated Marco Mueller, PUMA's senior director of product line management teamsport apparel.
"Having the chance to create an all-black kit proved thrilling and provided us with an opportunity to innovate with the Away jersey design. This also marks PUMA's first campaign shot entirely in black and white photography, which perfectly complements the kit's aesthetic."
