Manchester United Lands Promising French Striker in Major Transfer Coup

Manchester United have officially announced the acquisition of young forward Enzo Kana-Biyik, who has immediately been loaned out to affiliated club Lausanne-Sport.
The 18-year-old Kana-Biyik was considered a promising talent at his previous club Le Havre in France, but chose to let his contract run down, with reports from April indicating he had already agreed terms to move to United during the summer window.
This transfer has now been completed, with Kana-Biyik signing his United contract on Thursday.
The strategy for Kana-Biyik was always to loan him to Lausanne-Sport, as Le Parisien reported several months earlier, and this arrangement has also been finalized.
"Everyone at United would like to welcome Enzo to the club and wish him the very best of luck for his loan," stated a brief United announcement following Kana-Biyik's move to the INEOS-owned team for the current season.
Kana-Biyik impressed in youth football during the previous campaign and managed to secure several call-ups to the first team. He was named in squads for both Ligue 1 and Coupe de France matches but didn't manage to make his senior debut before departing.
He now represents United's third summer acquisition, joining Matheus Cunha and Diego Léon as new arrivals at Old Trafford.
United are looking to bring in additional players for Ruben Amorim's team before the summer transfer period ends. Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo continues to be a primary target, while the manager also wants to sign a goalkeeper and striker if enough money can be generated through player sales.
