Manchester United Prepares for Fresh Alejandro Garnacho Transfer Assault

Italian Serie A title holders Napoli are allegedly working on a fresh offer to secure Manchester United's wing player Alejandro Garnacho during the upcoming summer transfer period.
Garnacho became a priority target for Napoli in the January window following their loss of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain, however United's steep valuation—expected during mid-season—prevented any agreement from materializing.
Based on reports from The Mirror, Napoli's maximum bid reached £40 million ($54.4 million) in January, though they are now ready to submit an improved proposal of £45 million ($61.2 million) to complete the transfer.
United had initially sought up to £60 million ($81.5 million) but now acknowledge they won't achieve such an amount following several public and private controversies. Garnacho publicly questioned manager Ruben Amorim regarding his reduced playing time in the Europa League final loss and has since been excluded from pre-season preparations while the club seeks potential buyers.

The organization's documented financial struggles have further compromised their bargaining position, yet United remain determined to secure a substantial transfer fee for Garnacho, who represents one of their most valuable squad members.
Furthermore, United are reportedly considering contributing toward Garnacho's salary if it assists in completing his departure, demonstrating their eagerness to profit from the Argentina player this summer.
Other United players available for transfer include Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, with club leadership optimistic about generating over £100 million ($135.9 million) from selling surplus players.
These proceeds could subsequently be invested back into the existing roster. The Red Devils continue pursuing Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo and maintain intentions to acquire a new goalkeeper, while recruiting a fresh striker remains part of their strategy.
