Manchester United will stay within Europe for their 2026 preseason—a significant departure from their typical summer arrangements.
Aside from 2020 and 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed travel, United had ventured outside Europe every summer since 2002, most often heading to the United States or Asia for commercially lucrative global tours.
However, with a large portion of their squad already set to travel to the United States, Canada and Mexico for this summer's World Cup, the club has chosen to keep their preparations on home soil.
That doesn't mean a low-key schedule, though. The Red Devils will kick things off in Finland against Wrexham, before travelling to Norway to take on Rosenborg.
They will then head to Sweden for the headline fixtures of their preseason, facing Atlético Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, before rounding off the summer with a friendly against Leeds United in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
