Marcus Rashford Sets Sights on Man Utd Comeback Following Barcelona Transfer Snub

Marcus Rashford intends to join Manchester United's pre-season training camp if his transfer situation remains unresolved in the upcoming weeks, according to recent reports.
The forward is currently maintaining his fitness in Marbella, Spain, while preparing for a potential permanent departure from Old Trafford. His preferred destination is Barcelona, though he has yet to make significant headway toward securing a move to the Catalan club.
Given the lack of firm interest in Rashford so far, ESPN reports that the England striker has no intention of staging a holdout and is already considering rejoining United for pre-season activities next month.
Manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly not reached a definitive conclusion regarding Rashford's status. Although United are receptive to offers and hope to generate revenue from the 27-year-old's sale, it appears the possibility of his official return to the team remains open.
United's situation is further complicated by Rashford's substantial salary. With weekly earnings exceeding £300,000 ($404,000) and three years remaining on his deal, the Red Devils would find it difficult to rationalize excluding the striker from the squad while no clubs are actively pursuing him.

Barcelona have expressed interest in acquiring Rashford but are presently focused on finalizing a deal for Athletic Club's Nico Williams. While they haven't dismissed the possibility of also signing Rashford, Mundo Deportivo indicates they are unwilling to meet United's financial expectations.
United are reportedly seeking just €30 million (£25.7 million, $34.6 million), but this amount is considered excessive for Barcelona, who are prepared to spend double that figure on Williams initially.
Barcelona prefers a loan arrangement for Rashford, who has already indicated his willingness to reduce his salary to enable a move to Spain. Whether United would find such an arrangement appealing remains uncertain.
Rashford is among multiple high-profile attacking players available for transfer at United. The Red Devils are also entertaining offers for Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony, though their compromised bargaining position may compel them to wait until the latter stages of the summer transfer window to finalize deals.
