Matheus Cunha Calls Man United's No.10 Jersey Switch from Rashford "Beautiful" Move

Matheus Cunha has expressed his excitement about fulfilling a lifelong ambition by donning Manchester United's iconic No.10 jersey after taking over from Marcus Rashford.
Rashford was the latest player to sport the No.10 at Old Trafford, continuing a tradition established by club icons including Wayne Rooney, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Teddy Sheringham.
Nevertheless, the English forward is anticipated to depart Man Utd this summer after being informed he's no longer needed and allegedly requesting a transfer, with the Red Devils announcing that Cunha will assume the No.10 role following his £62.5 million ($84.9 million) transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers while Rashford remains at the club.
"Wearing the No.10 is something you've always fantasized about," Cunha shared during an interview with Man Utd's media department. "I can name numerous players who have worn this jersey. It's quite straightforward for me. Naturally, I believe the player I always consider when I see this number on this shirt is Wayne Rooney. He was someone I watched growing up and I've witnessed many of his matches.
"I also exchanged jerseys with Marcus [Rashford, following a game], and I keep his shirt at my house. However, we're aware that many players have worn this jersey—Van Nistelrooy, [Zlatan] Ibrahimović. The dream isn't just about wearing the shirt, but embracing all the heritage surrounding this number makes it something special that I'm privileged to experience.
"Regardless of the number, it would be an honor to wear the shirt. But with this particular one, it feels extraordinary. Naturally, the pressure comes with it, and I'm hopeful I can contribute through goals, assists and supporting the team."
The Brazilian will get his first opportunity to wear the Man Utd jersey on July 19 when the Red Devils face Leeds United in their opening pre-season match. The 26-year-old has already joined his new teammates in training sessions preparing for the upcoming season.
