Mbappe's Heartfelt Four-Word Response to Vinicius Jr's Shocking Surprise Revealed

Kylian Mbappé expressed his solidarity with Real Madrid colleague Vinícius Júnior by stating he is "always on your boat" following Saturday's 3–1 triumph against Villarreal.

While Mbappé has dominated headlines this season, Vinícius emerged as the star performer at the Santiago Bernabéu as Madrid cruised to victory, netting twice and causing Santiago Mouriño's dismissal. The Brazilian's second goal came from the penalty spot after Mbappé surprisingly relinquished spot-kick responsibilities for the first time this campaign.

The French striker, who would later add to his open-play scoring tally in the closing 10 minutes, had yet to score when he offered the ball and an embrace to Vinícius.

"Siempre en tu barco," Mbappé posted on social media following the match. "Always on your boat."

Though Mbappé has been praised as a legitimate Ballon d'Or candidate following his explosive season start, Vinícius has faced a more challenging adjustment period under Xabi Alonso. No longer assured of his starting position with Rodrygo eagerly competing for his place, Madrid's No. 7 has frequently appeared visibly frustrated.

Alonso wasn't completely pleased with the touching gesture. "Today they decided between themselves, but Mbappé remains the designated taker," Madrid's coach stated firmly. "It was their decision to make."

While Vinícius may have enhanced his relationship with Mbappé and added two goals to his season total, his display wasn't without incident.

Vinícius Accused of Cheating in Real Madrid Win

Villarreal midfielder Santiago Comesaña expressed strong dissatisfaction with two officiating calls that both involved Vinícius.

Initially, Madrid's attacking star went down in the penalty area to earn the spot kick he subsequently scored after what Comesaña considered insufficient contact. "In my opinion, there needs to be more," the disappointed visitor told DAZN. "It's a penalty that damages us significantly because at 1–0 we were still competitive. You only need to observe how [Vinicius] falls, he drops with both feet [elevated]."

Vinícius's successful penalty made it 2–0 but Villarreal reduced the margin through Georges Mikautadze with 15 minutes remaining. However, their comeback hopes were dashed by Mouriño's second booking in the 77th minute. The defending right-back seemed to push Vinícius in the chest as the Brazilian fell clutching his face.

"Then you must consider the red card," Comesaña continued. "He positioned himself in front of [Vinícius] and received his marching orders. If winning at the Bernabéu is already challenging, with incidents like these, it becomes even more difficult."
