L.A. Galaxy forward João Klauss delivered a jaw-dropping moment on Saturday night at Allianz Field with an unconventional header from Marco Reus's free kick. The Brazilian charged toward the near post before leaping into the air and arching his body backward to redirect the ball toward the far post. It flew into the side netting, leveling the score at 2–2 for the Galaxy in the 76th minute.
Klauss's team ultimately claimed a 3–2 victory over Minnesota United.

Julian Hall had gone 13 consecutive matches without finding the net since May, and the teenager's fierce determination to put that unwanted run firmly behind him was plain to see. The striker capitalised on a sloppy defensive pass from New York City FC's James Sands and raced past goalkeeper Matt Freese to slot home in the 57th minute.
It proved to be the only goal of the evening, handing the Red Bulls the Hudson River derby trophy at Yankee Stadium. Hall's decisive strike, witnessed firsthand by USMNT boss Mauricio Pochettino, should provide the young talent with a major confidence boost ahead of his first senior national team camp.

Morgan Whittaker, who joined on a $13 million Deadline Day transfer from Middlesbrough, announced himself with a brace in only his second MLS appearance for the Colorado Rapids. The 25-year-old English winger's second goal was a ferocious strike into the roof of the Seattle Sounders' net, taken first-time off a bouncing ball just inside the penalty area. Flawless execution.

André Luiz was utterly unstoppable this weekend, bagging a brace against the Philadelphia Union at home at Sporting Park. He got off the mark on Saturday as early as the fifth minute.
Luiz brought a wayward aerial ball under control despite heavy pressure from behind, then surged into the Union's half, leaving the same defender in his wake before beating a second to enter the penalty box, finishing with a composed left-footed effort into the far corner.

Messi casually bent a left-footed free kick over the San Diego defensive wall and beneath the diving frame of goalkeeper Carlos Dos Santos. The ball clipped the post before nestling into the back of the net, registering the iconic forward's 101st MLS goal and 75th career free kick strike. Messi now boasts nine goal contributions across his last five MLS appearances.
