Messi Sparks Frenzy with Explosive Inter Miami Comeback Clue

Lionel Messi seems to have indicated his participation in Saturday's MLS encounter between Inter Miami and Atlanta United.

The legendary player was excluded from Argentina's friendly match against Venezuela on Friday, though his absence doesn't appear to be fitness-related. Coach Lionel Scaloni indicated following the match that it was merely a strategic choice to rotate his players.

So far, neither Argentina nor Miami has officially confirmed Messi's current location, but he wasn't listed among the international absentees in Miami's pre-game announcement.

The 38-year-old seemed to hint at his return to action for Javier Mascherano's team on Saturday through an Instagram story promoting the match, which featured images of him wearing the Miami uniform—a typical practice from the striker on Miami game days when he's participating.

Supporters are now anxiously waiting for Miami's confirmation before Saturday's encounter with a faltering Atlanta team.

Messi's Return to Argentina Setup Not Yet Ruled Out

Due to the uncertainty surrounding Messi's circumstances, it's completely feasible that he won't appear for Miami and will instead stay with the national squad, though the possibility of him representing both teams also seems to be under consideration.

Scaloni seemed to imply that something unconventional was happening with Messi when questioned about his availability for Tuesday's match against Puerto Rico. Notably, the game will now take place at Miami's Chase Stadium after being moved from Chicago.

"We're hoping Messi will be available on Tuesday, we'll observe how situations develop over the next few days," Scaloni stated.

Miami manager Mascherano has also kept open the possibility of Messi's return to club duty, but emphasized earlier this week that he remained uninformed about Messi's intentions for the rest of the international period.
