New York City Mayor and well-known Arsenal supporter Zohran Mamdani took to social media to apparently mock Manchester City after the club was found guilty of serious financial rule violations.

Man City were convicted on 114 of the 115 charges brought against them for breaching Premier League financial regulations, following an inquiry that spanned more than three years. City insist they have done nothing wrong and are widely expected to appeal the substantial penalties that are set to follow.

Nevertheless, rival clubs and their supporters had a field day on social media when the verdict was announced on Friday, Sept. 25.
