The 53rd annual Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Awards ceremony took place Tuesday evening at the Manchester Opera House, celebrating and recognizing the finest soccer talent in England across the Premier League, EFL Championship, League One and Two, the Women's Super League (WSL), and Women's Super League 2 for the 2025–26 season.
The accolades, which include Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Team of the Year, are determined by a vote among fellow players.
Bruno Fernandes claimed the men's Player of the Year award after the Manchester United midfielder shattered the Premier League record for most assists in a single season with 21. He becomes the first United player to earn the distinction since Wayne Rooney in 2010.
Manchester City striker Khadija "Bunny" Shaw collected her second women's Player of the Year award after becoming the first player ever to claim three consecutive WSL golden boots. She netted 21 goals in 22 appearances to guide City to the championship.
