Premier League Club Eyes Major Swoop for USMNT Star Striker

Fulham are seeking to strengthen their offensive capabilities as they prepare for the upcoming 2025–26 Premier League campaign, with USMNT forward Ricardo Pepi emerging as a potential target for the London-based club.
Fabrizio Romano has indicated that Fulham are contemplating making contact with PSV Eindhoven to initiate discussions about a potential transfer for Pepi. Marco Silva's team is not alone in monitoring the striker's situation, as Romano has also revealed that several clubs from Spain and Italy have expressed interest in the 22-year-old forward.
Nevertheless, securing Pepi's services may prove challenging, given that the striker signed an extended contract in February that keeps him at PSV through the 2029–30 campaign. This development could make the Dutch club hesitant to part ways with the American international without receiving a substantial transfer offer.
Pepi netted 11 goals across 18 Eredivisie matches during the previous season and contributed an additional two goals in 161 minutes of Champions League action. The ex-FC Dallas striker was positioned to reach the 20-goal milestone in domestic competition before a knee injury in late January cut his campaign short.
Should Fulham successfully secure Pepi's signature, he would reunite with fellow USMNT teammate Antonee Robinson at Craven Cottage. Additionally, Pepi would partner with Mexico international Raúl Jiménez in Fulham's forward line, potentially forming an all-Concacaf striking partnership in England's top flight.
Following his promotion to PSV's first team in summer 2023, Pepi has found the net 26 times in 68 total appearances. Given his youth and the potential he demonstrated during the opening months of the 2024–25 season, it's understandable why the west London side and various European clubs have taken notice of Pepi's abilities.
