Sunday, Sept. 28: Challenging Journey to St. James' Park

'Super Sunday' has failed to meet expectations at the season's start, and we might witness another weekend of cautious play across both matches.

A tight and "sluggish" Aston Villa edged past Bologna in Thursday's Europa League encounter, returning to Villa Park for Fulham's arrival. Marco Silva's Cottagers again appear to be challenging opponents despite their quiet summer transfer activity, aiming to heap more frustration upon the Villans.

Subsequently, Arsenal embark on the lengthy journey north to Tyneside for their first 2025–26 encounter with Newcastle United. These teams clashed four times last season, with the Magpies winning three contests. No more than two goals were netted in any of those matches.
