Premier League Giants Eye $54 Million USMNT Star in Blockbuster Transfer Move
Fulham are reportedly targeting U.S. men's national team striker Ricardo Pepi for a potential move to Craven Cottage during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The Premier League side is looking to strengthen their attacking options in January. Mexican international star Raúl Jiménez, who will celebrate his 35th birthday in May, has managed just five goals so far in the 2025–26 campaign, while Rodrigo Muniz has been out of action since November due to a hamstring problem.
As reported by Daily Mail, Fulham see Pepi as an attractive addition to Marco Silva's roster, someone who could inject energy into an attack that has netted two or more goals in only four of their past 16 matches.
The West London club had previously shown interest in the American striker during the summer window, and West Ham United submitted a bid twelve months ago. However, he continues to impress at PSV Eindhoven following an outstanding start to the current season. Pepi has already scored 10 goals across 21 matches, putting him on track to surpass his career-high tally of 17 goals in a single season.
The Eredivisie side reportedly values the 22-year-old at approximately $54 million, a figure that may rise further if Pepi maintains his current form through 2026. Fulham would need to make a substantial financial commitment to secure his services, while also persuading the striker to relocate to England.
Pepi's Revival Arrives at Ideal Moment for the USMNT

Pepi was absent for extended periods last season following a knee problem, which ruled him out for most of the USMNT's activities throughout 2025. His prolonged absence created opportunities for Haji Wright and Patrick Agyemang to make their mark under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Pepi's return to peak performance, however, presents Pochettino with a pleasant dilemma. The Argentine coach now has multiple striking options to evaluate during the March international fixtures against Belgium and Portugal.
Folarin Balogun continues to lead the race for the Stars and Stripes' starting forward position at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but his deputy remains undecided. Increased attention from Premier League clubs, potentially leading to a transfer, could position Pepi favorably among the competing candidates heading into next summer's global tournament.
