Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly among several Premier League teams showing interest in securing Real Madrid prospect Gonzalo García through a January loan arrangement.
The 21-year-old forward unexpectedly gained recognition during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup following his promotion to the first team by manager Xabi Alonso, with the player justifying his coach's confidence in Kylian Mbappé's absence by claiming the tournament's leading scorer award.
García netted four goals to secure his position in Madrid's senior squad, though limited opportunities this campaign have restricted his playing time. Eight of his nine total appearances have been as a substitute, while he has remained unused on the bench seven times.
Consequently, reports suggest the forward could be loaned out during the January window to aid his progression—although he remains satisfied with life in the Spanish capital.
