Arsenal currently rank as the most valuable Premier League team, narrowly edging out Manchester City for the top position. They also boast the strongest cost-to-value ratio at +£315.9 million ($425.3 million), despite not having the most expensive roster. Chelsea claims that distinction, though their squad valuation puts them in negative territory from a market standpoint.

Although Man City have been active in recruitment, securing players like Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders, their overall spending remains modest compared to the three leading spenders and their cross-town rivals. Liverpool broke the British transfer record by signing Florian Wirtz this summer, with the German midfielder representing the window's most expensive acquisition. Hugo Ekitiké, another Liverpool addition, ranks as the second-costliest signing. Arsenal secured the sixth and ninth most expensive transfers in Viktor Gyökeres and Martín Zubimendi. Their recent acquisition, Eberechi Eze, falls just short of the top 10.

At the opposite extreme sits Manchester United, who possess the second-most expensive roster after Chelsea, yet their total squad valuation shows a £322.9 million ($434.7 million) shortfall. Man Utd completed three of the summer's top 10 most expensive transfers, bringing in Benjamin Šeško, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, leading all clubs in this category.

These figures may shift as deadline day approaches and clubs rush to finalize last-minute deals, such as Arsenal's pursuit of Piero Hincapié and the ongoing Alexander Isak to Liverpool transfer speculation.
