Real Madrid are anxiously monitoring the condition of winger Vinicius Junior after a muscular complaint forced him to miss Brazil's training session this weekend.
Following a full 90-minute appearance in his nation's friendly loss to France, Vinicius reported discomfort in his thigh, according to COPE, and was promptly sent for medical scans.
Although the initial results were encouraging, Vinicius still sat out Saturday's training session due to the issue, opting instead to work on his recovery indoors in the gym.
The winger did eventually rejoin training, though he is unlikely to feature prominently against Croatia on Tuesday night and may be kept out entirely as the Brazil coaching staff look to avoid any further risk to the player.
"Everything is fine," a spokesperson for the Brazilian Football Confederation was quoted as saying.
Timing of Vinicius Jr Injury Blow Causes Concern at Real Madrid

It appears that Vinicius is not dealing with a particularly serious injury, but that will only offer limited reassurance to Madrid, who are now growing more anxious about the timing of the setback.
Los Blancos return to action on Saturday with an away fixture at Mallorca, where Vinicius could be given a rest given that Álvaro Arbeloa's side are heavy favorites against their relegation-threatened opponents. Just three days after that, however, the stakes rise considerably.
Bayern Munich travel to the Santiago Bernabéu on April 7 for the opening leg of their Champions League quarterfinal clash. The Bundesliga heavyweights are among the frontrunners to lift the trophy, having delivered an outstanding campaign throughout the season.
Arbeloa will need his squad firing on all cylinders for Bayern's arrival, and any indication that Vinicius may be carrying a physical problem will be a source of real worry.
There are already doubts surrounding the fitness of Kylian Mbappé. The French forward played 66 minutes of the same friendly as he continues working his way back to full fitness following yet another spell on the sidelines with his persistent knee problem.
Madrid are also missing Rodrygo, who may not return until 2027 after sustaining an ACL injury, leaving their attacking options severely depleted.
Young Gonzalo García has stepped up to fill the void at times alongside attacking midfielder Brahim Díaz, who has been used as a makeshift centre-forward during Mbappé's absence. The duo could be handed considerable playing time against Mallorca as Arbeloa looks to shield his key players ahead of the Bayern showdown.
