Real Madrid Icon Reveals Shocking Truth About Franco Mastantuono's Mentality

Former Real Madrid icon Ángel Di María believes Franco Mastantuono's fearless attitude to "conquer everything" will help him succeed at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The 18-year-old recently scored his debut goal wearing the Real Madrid jersey, finding the net in an impressive 4–1 victory against Levante that also featured Kylian Mbappé scoring twice and Vinícius Júnior getting the opener.

Mastantuono described it as a "remarkable sensation" and an "amazing experience," especially since it occurred precisely 72 years after the legendary Alfredo Di Stéfano netted his first Real Madrid goal.

Real Madrid's new coach Xabi Alonso has immediately integrated Mastantuono into the squad, giving him consistent first-team opportunities after his expensive transfer from River Plate, and he's formed an effective partnership with another promising young attacker, Arda Güler.

Mastantuono's impressive beginning has definitely attracted the attention of Real Madrid legend Di María, who rejoined his childhood team Rosario Central during the summer and remains effective at 37 years old.

Mastantuono: I Feel Comfortable at Real Madrid

"I was delighted to witness how quickly he connected with his teammates," Di María commented about Real Madrid's newest young talent. "His ability, that playful spirit of always pushing forward and wanting to conquer everything, is extremely positive; they will appreciate him greatly.

"I'm thrilled that another Argentine is now at Real Madrid and is representing our country so excellently. For someone who's 18, he shows tremendous character."

Mastantuono's composure and wisdom beyond his years has been noted by Spanish journalists, clearly amazed by his adjustment to European football. This comes as no shock considering Mastantuono has expressed how comfortable he feels in his new surroundings, despite the enormous pressure at the Bernabéu.

"I feel completely at ease. It's an honor, a dream realized for me to be here, and I'm maintaining my composure," he shared with Real Madrid's official media after netting that inaugural goal. "I attempt to handle it normally, even though it isn't normal. I have many aspects in my life that help keep me humble: my family, my friends, my community, that helps me stay relaxed and appreciate what I do, which is the most wonderful profession in the world."
