Real Madrid President Reveals His Ultimate 'Dream Signing' Target Ahead of Summer Transfer Frenzy

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has reportedly set his sights on Juventus star Kenan Yıldız, according to a new report.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder, who earned a spot in the Serie A Team of the Season for 2024–25, has once again impressed for Juve this campaign, netting 10 goals and contributing six assists in the Italian top flight.

Yıldız, contracted to the Turin club through 2030, continues to be a pivotal figure for Juve as they chase a crucial Champions League qualification berth for the upcoming season.

With the club currently occupying fourth place in the standings, there are growing concerns that player sales may be necessary to balance the books this summer should they miss out on the lucrative revenue that Champions League football brings.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Yıldız is among the notable players expected to attract offers during the summer transfer window.

The report suggests that the Turkish international's "love for the cause" could be put to the test by a substantial offer from Real Madrid, with the outlet claiming he is the "dream player" of club president Pérez.

The piece further notes that Real Madrid are planning to "restart with a vengeance" following yet another season without silverware.

Elsewhere, Francisco Conceição and Dušan Vlahović are also mentioned as Juventus players who could be sold this summer to help strengthen the club's financial position.

Why Yildiz Rumors Make Little Sense

While Yıldız is undeniably a talented player—and one with a clear connection to current Los Blancos star Arda Güler—the speculation surrounding Madrid's interest seems unlikely to develop into anything concrete.

Yıldız plays as an attacking midfielder, either centrally or from the left flank, positions where he would struggle to earn regular playing time at Madrid.

Perhaps the only plausible scenario in which Pérez might pursue Yıldız would be if Vinicius Junior openly chose not to renew his contract, compelling the club to explore alternative targets.

As a more central No.10, Yıldız would be unlikely to dislodge Jude Bellingham, and his arrival would only intensify competition for minutes with his international compatriot Güler, who has enjoyed a standout season.

On top of all this, there is considerable speculation that Madrid will move to bring another Serie A attacking midfielder to the Bernabéu this summer in the form of Nico Paz.

The Como forward's buyback clause, reportedly valued at around €10 million ($12 million), makes him a cost-effective option—and one who is already familiar with the Madrid setup, having spent several years in the club's academy.

Yıldız, by contrast, would cost significantly more than Paz even accounting for any financial difficulties at Juventus, with Paz arguably being the stronger player of the two.

In the meantime, Madrid are expected to direct the bulk of their transfer spending this summer toward securing a new center-back following David Alaba's departure and Raúl Asencio being deemed expendable, as well as a midfield anchor.
