Real Madrid have officially unveiled their new home kit for the 2026–27 season, featuring a historic detail that has never appeared on a club shirt before.
The club revealed the new adidas design on Wednesday under the slogan "elegance is our identity." The home shirt remains true to Madrid's signature white, but also incorporates dark green trim and three pink stripes across the shoulders, delivering a striking contrast and a distinctly modern aesthetic.
For the first time ever, a Real Madrid home shirt will incorporate three colors in its design, while the white base features a subtle textured pattern throughout.
The official launch statement reads: "This kit features a modern design that integrates graphic elements inspired by the crown jewels of our club's crest, reflecting excellence, craftsmanship and a winning mentality.
"The white jersey is complemented by dark green details on the collar and sleeve cuffs. Additionally, the adidas three stripes on the shoulders appear in pink.
"Engineered to meet the demands of elite performance, the jersey incorporates adidas' latest technology to maximize airflow and keep players cool during matches."
The kit represents the latest chapter in adidas' partnership with Real Madrid, which has supplied the club's playing attire since 1998. The long-standing deal with the world's most decorated club extends through 2031 and is reportedly valued at around €120 million ($140 million) per year for Madrid.

Speaking in a behind-the-scenes launch video, Jude Bellingham commented on the tradition-defying design: "I like the colors on it", while Antonio Rüdiger noted "You know, everything these days is more colorful. It's nice. I like it." Federico Valverde simply described it as "incredible."
This is not the first instance of pink appearing on a Real Madrid home shirt. The 2020–21 kit included bright pink side paneling, and pink has also featured regularly on the club's away strips in recent seasons.
The green detailing, meanwhile, draws comparisons to the 2012–13 away jersey. This season's away kit, which has yet to be officially announced, is expected to feature the same shade of green.
When Will Real Madrid Wear the New Jersey?
Madrid will have their first opportunity to wear the new kit during preseason fixtures ahead of the 2026–27 campaign.
The specifics of the club's summer schedule are yet to be confirmed, but preparations will get underway following the World Cup.
The new jersey will then be worn throughout the upcoming season as Real Madrid look to bounce back after two underwhelming years without a major trophy.
