Real Madrid Targets Historic Revenue Milestone in 2025-26 Campaign

Real Madrid is reportedly setting their sights on an extraordinary €1.3 billion ($1.5 billion) revenue target for the 2025–26 campaign.

Despite Real Madrid's final season under Carlo Ancelotti not yielding all possible silverware and earnings, the club concluded the term with remarkable financial success. As reported by MARCA, Los Blancos generated close to €1.2 billion ($1.4 billion) in income even before embarking on their journey to the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup.

Xabi Alonso's squad advanced to the semifinals of the expanded tournament before suffering a 4–0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. While the heavy loss wasn't the conclusion the team desired for their tournament participation, they still secured approximately €74 million ($86.5 million) in prize earnings.

The extra earnings from the Club World Cup brings Real Madrid's total revenue near a historic €1.3 billion ($1.5 billion) mark as they approach their next season. This remarkable figure strengthens the club's position as the most financially successful team in global football.

Merely twelve months earlier, Real Madrid became the inaugural club to exceed €1 billion ($1.2 billion) in revenue, driven by significant increases from commercial deals and their 2023–24 Champions League triumph.

In May, Forbes valued Real Madrid at $6.75 billion. Only Manchester United approached the 15-time Champions League champions with a valuation of $6.6 billion.

Los Blancos' substantial earnings, recognized by UEFA, enabled the team to make significant investments this summer. Real Madrid acquired Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen and Franco Mastantuono, with Álvaro Carreras also expected to join.

If the Spanish powerhouse returns to their commanding form in both domestic and European competitions next season, Real Madrid could be looking at even greater revenue streams ahead.
