Real Madrid's 2025-26 La Liga Schedule Revealed: El Clasico and Derby Dates That Will Define Their Season

The schedule for Real Madrid's 2025–26 La Liga campaign has been announced, with Xabi Alonso's team beginning their journey against Osasuna on matchday one.

Following their second-place finish in Carlo Ancelotti's last season as manager, Real Madrid are determined to regain the Spanish title under Alonso's leadership. The club strengthened their squad this summer by acquiring Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen and Franco Mastantuono to bolster their championship aspirations.

After their season opener versus Osasuna, Alonso's squad will take on Real Oviedo and Mallorca to wrap up August. Early in the 2025–26 season, Los Blancos will meet Atlético Madrid away at the Metropolitano. The return Madrid derby will take place at home in March.

However, the most anticipated fixtures on the calendar are the encounters with Barcelona. The opening Clásico of the campaign takes place in Madrid at the end of October. The return match, which may ultimately determine the La Liga title winner, is scheduled for May.

Real Madrid will conclude their campaign with a home fixture against Athletic Bilbao at the Santiago Bernabéu.
