Will Vinícius Jr Sign New Contract?

Throughout the contract impasse, Vinícius Jr has been very open about his desire to remain at the club.

"I've never pictured myself anywhere other than Real Madrid," the Brazilian said in one interview with CazéTV. "I cherish every moment I spend here because this is the club I've always dreamed of playing for.

There was a brief flashpoint from the winger during last season's October Clásico, when he declared "I'm leaving the club" after being taken off by then head coach Xabi Alonso. However, that tension appeared to fade following Alonso's departure from the club mid-season.
