Red Dragons Face Brutal Opening as Wrexham Unveils 2025-26 Fixture List

Following three successive promotions, Wrexham has returned to England's second division for the first time in over four decades, and they'll kick off their 2025–26 Championship campaign with a challenging away fixture against Southampton.
With financial support from Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Wrexham has experienced three remarkable seasons, culminating in securing League One's second automatic promotion place behind champions Birmingham City.
These longtime rivals will clash again in October, but before that encounter, Wrexham faces teams including West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield Wednesday, and Millwall.
Following their season opener versus Southampton, Wrexham won't have to wait long for another match against a team relegated from the Premier League. A visit to Leicester City is scheduled for September, with Ipswich Town set for two months afterward.
The spotlight will be on the Welsh derby against Swansea City, who will welcome Wrexham for their first encounter in December. The return fixture at the Racecourse is planned for March.
Wrexham's final match of the campaign will be at home against Middlesbrough, where they'll aspire to be competing for another promotion, potentially to the Premier League.
