Ronaldo Targets Another Chelsea Ace with Blockbuster Al Nassr Bid After Landing First Star

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly pushed Al Nassr to pursue Chelsea's Marc Cucurella after successfully orchestrating a move for João Félix, according to recent reports.

Following his contract extension with Al Nassr this summer, Ronaldo was allegedly given a say in the club's recruitment strategy. The 40-year-old striker utilized his connections to convince Portugal international Félix to join the Saudi Arabian side in a transfer valued at £43.7 million ($58.7 million), which is anticipated to be completed soon.

According to MARCA, Ronaldo's next target is Chelsea's left-back Cucurella, who is set to receive a substantial offer designed to persuade him to relocate to the Middle East during this transfer window.

While Cucurella's response to such an approach remains uncertain, he is believed to be content at Chelsea, having bounced back from a challenging debut campaign at Stamford Bridge to become a crucial component in Enzo Maresca's tactical framework.

Ronaldo was reportedly impressed with Cucurella's performances during the previous campaign and views the Chelsea defender as a priority signing as Al Nassr attempts to compete with rivals Al Hilal and Al Ittihad.

The rumors surrounding Cucurella's potential departure emerge as Chelsea approach a deal for Ajax left-back Jorrel Hato, though the Dutch player is not considered a direct replacement for Cucurella, who served as Maresca's primary left-back option throughout most of last season.

Chelsea face no urgency regarding Cucurella's situation. The 27-year-old defender remains tied to the club until 2028 and, following an outstanding campaign, would likely require a substantial transfer fee should he depart this summer.

Al Nassr are reportedly willing to present Cucurella with an "irresistible offer" in hopes of convincing him to push for an exit from Chelsea, though his focus appears to remain on continuing his career at Stamford Bridge for now.
