The defender is entering the final year of his Madrid agreement, with speculation suggesting he might be permitted to depart as a free agent at season's end, possibly alongside fellow center-back David Alaba.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, while Alaba appears likely to exit next summer, no definitive choice regarding Rüdiger's future with the club has been reached.

Rüdiger remains fully dedicated to Madrid currently, but should he choose to move on, the experienced defender will face numerous opportunities, particularly from Saudi Arabian teams. Representatives from the Pro League's leading clubs are reportedly "infatuated" with Rüdiger and have been pursuing him for multiple seasons.
