Serie A Powerhouses Launch Bid to Snatch Jadon Sancho from Manchester United

Italian football powerhouses Napoli and Juventus have set their sights on acquiring Manchester United's unwanted winger Jadon Sancho, according to reports from Italy.
Despite not yet playing under new Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim, Sancho is anticipated to leave Old Trafford following Chelsea's decision not to make his loan move permanent due to disagreements over salary terms.
The English winger spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Stamford Bridge, showing flashes of brilliance and netting a crucial goal in the Blues' Conference League final triumph against Real Betis. Across 42 appearances for the London club, the attacker contributed 15 goals and assists combined.
However, Sancho failed to completely win over the Chelsea supporters, and the club's choice not to secure his services permanently wasn't met with significant disappointment. Now seeking a fresh start elsewhere, respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Italy might be the 25-year-old's next chapter.
Both Juventus and Napoli are eager to pursue Sancho's signature, with the Turin club already reaching out to Manchester United regarding a possible deal, while the Naples outfit has engaged directly with the player's representatives. For any permanent move to materialize, Sancho would need to significantly reduce his salary expectations that apparently prevented his Chelsea transfer.
While Sancho has found it challenging to excel in English football, he previously thrived at Borussia Dortmund—particularly during his initial stint—and a move to Italian football could potentially revitalize his career.
Napoli, following their championship triumph under Antonio Conte's guidance, are seeking a long-term successor to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after only bringing in Noah Okafor during the January window. The club is also monitoring Bologna's Dan Ndoye, Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, and Manchester City's Jack Grealish.
Regarding Juventus, they had previously pursued Sancho last summer before Chelsea intervened. The Old Lady also desires additional wing reinforcement despite Francisco Conceição's expected permanent signing.
