Son Heung-min Reveals When He'll Make His Explosive Tottenham Comeback
Son Heung-min and Tottenham Hotspur announced that the current LAFC striker will make a heartfelt comeback to north London on December 9th to receive the proper send-off he missed during the summer.
The former Spurs skipper dedicated ten years in the capital, accumulating 454 matches and netting 173 goals, earning him the prestigious distinction of being the club's fifth highest goalscorer of all time. Son departed Tottenham for LAFC in August, signing with the California-based team for an MLS record transfer fee of approximately $26 million.
The drawn-out process of Son's exit meant his departure was somewhat mishandled. His final competitive match in a Spurs shirt saw the 33-year-old lift the Europa League trophy, yet he remained on the squad that went to Asia for Tottenham's preseason campaign, which centered around Son's participation.
The South Korean icon's last appearance for Spurs in any form was before an enthusiastic home audience at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in August, playing for sixty minutes in a exhibition match against Newcastle United.

It will be moving, but it's crucial for both myself and the Club that this takes place."
The organization announced that Son will be introduced to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium audience with a microphone before next week's Champions League encounter against Slavia Prague. Son's homecoming will align with the unveiling of a mural on Tottenham High Road celebrating the accomplished winger.
Son's LAFC Future
Son might be traveling to Europe this winter, but he's made it crystal clear that it won't be for professional reasons. There had been speculation about the Spurs legend obtaining a temporary loan back to the continent during the MLS break to maintain his conditioning before this summer's World Cup. That scenario is off the table.
"Numerous people are interested, the speculation itself is bothersome. Supporters must also feel puzzled. My conviction and approach have consistently been that dedicating everything to the club I represent is paramount. The speculation is false," he stated earlier this month.
"I have never once entertained moving to a different club during the winter break. Even mentioning such discussions could show disrespect to LAFC. I can verify it is untrue."
