Supercomputer Reveals Shocking Relegation Odds for Tottenham Following Tudor's Sudden Exit

Supercomputer Reveals Shocking Relegation Odds for Tottenham Following Tudor's Sudden Exit

With only seven matches remaining in the 2025–26 season, Tottenham Hotspur have made one last desperate gamble.

Igor Tudor, brought in to stabilize the club following the Thomas Frank era, has been dismissed after just 44 days at the helm, leaving the side a single point above the relegation zone after a humiliating 3–0 loss to fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest.

Spurs could even find themselves in the drop zone before their next match. West Ham United, currently occupying 18th place, take on bottom club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday, two days ahead of Spurs' lengthy journey north to Sunderland.

With the pressure at an all-time high, the Opta supercomputer has run the numbers on Tottenham's prospects of staying in the Premier League.

The two clubs currently occupying 19th and 20th, Burnley and Wolves, are both considered near-certainties for the drop to the Championship. Burnley's relegation probability stands at 99.90%, marginally higher than the 99.88% assigned to Wolves.

Above those two, however, the picture becomes far murkier.

Fortunately for Spurs, the supercomputer still leans toward their survival. The Lilywhites are given just a 27.00% chance of going down, though that figure is nearly 24% higher than when former boss Thomas Frank left Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in early February.

It is West Ham United who remain most firmly in the relegation crosshairs. The supercomputer puts a 57.03% probability on Nuno Espírito Santo's side being relegated, though the situation remains dangerously close.

Only a single point currently divides Spurs and West Ham, and that gap could remain unchanged through to the final whistle of the season. One poor result could prove decisive.

Tottenham's Premier League Fixtures Compared to West Ham

Randal Kolo Muani, Oliver Scarles

Both Spurs and West Ham face a genuinely unpredictable run-in when it comes to their remaining schedules.

Both clubs still have a date with Wolves, whose league standing is somewhat misleading. Rob Edwards's team have shown real improvement in the second half of the campaign but are weighed down by a historically dreadful start to the season from which recovery was never a realistic possibility.

A home fixture against Everton also features on both teams' schedules, including on the final day for Spurs, while West Ham close their season hosting a Leeds side who will have visited Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just a fortnight prior.

Clashes with Chelsea and Aston Villa represent stern tests for Spurs, who will also be wary of facing Brighton and Everton sides still pushing for European qualification next season.

West Ham, meanwhile, will be targeting full points from their upcoming back-to-back games against Wolves and Crystal Palace, especially given that their following four fixtures look extremely demanding. Brentford and Everton are both just three points adrift of the Champions League places, before a trip to an Arsenal side potentially still chasing the title. A visit to St. James' Park to face Newcastle also looms as a formidable challenge.
