Premier League award season rolls on, with the best goal of 2025–26 among the next batch of annual honors to be presented this week.
The Guinness Goal of the Season has previously been awarded to stars such as Mohamed Salah (2021–22) and Son Heung-min (2019–20) since its introduction a decade ago.
But you don't need to be a superstar to take home the prize, as Sofiane Boufal (2016–17) and Julio Enciso (2022–23) can confirm. The most recent winner was Manchester City's Omar Marmoush, who had only been in England for a few months at the time.
Three former Premier League Goal of the Season recipients—Son, Salah, Alejandro Garnacho—have even gone on to win the FIFA Puskás Award for the world's finest goal that year.
Supporters have a voice in this one, with public voting open on the Premier League's official website until 12 p.m. BST (7 a.m. ET, 4 a.m. PT) on Wednesday, May 27. The online vote result is then combined with the selections of an expert panel to determine the ultimate winner.
All but one of the nominated strikes was a Goal of the Month winner during the campaign.
Premier League Goal of the Season Nominees—Ranked
10. Taty Castellanos vs. Newcastle Utd

There is no official Goal of the Month for May, but West Ham's Taty Castellanos serves as the month's representative in the season award. Striking the bouncing ball so early caught the goalkeeper completely off guard and produced a stunning moment, though it was merely a consolation and couldn't prevent the Hammers from being relegated.
9. Kaoru Mitoma vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Kaoru Mitoma caught that perfectly 🚀

He unfortunately won't be heading to the World Cup with Japan due to injury, but Kaoru Mitoma is at least in contention for Goal of the Season. The winger timed his run to the far post perfectly and struck as clean a volley as you're ever likely to witness.
8. Dominic Solanke vs. Man City
Scorpion kick alert 🦂🚨

It wasn't a season filled with many highlights for Tottenham Hotspur. But supporters were treated to this February Goal of the Month from Dominic Solanke, an improvised scorpion kick that transformed a wayward cross into a spectacular finish.
7. Emiliano Buendía vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Teamwork at its very best 🤝

There was far more to Emiliano Buendía's October goal for Aston Villa against Tottenham than just the precise finish. It began with a brilliant long pass from Matty Cash that Lucas Digne brought down with a superb first touch, before laying it off to the eventual scorer.
6. William Osula vs. Man Utd
A long run and sublime finish to win the game in the 90th minute for @NUFC 😱

A springboard for a blistering end to the season following an otherwise quiet Newcastle career, this was the moment William Osula sank Manchester United in the dying seconds. The Dane then netted five more in his next eight league outings to close out the campaign.
5. Tyler Adams vs. Sunderland

Sometimes, the ability to score a spectacular goal is only part of the equation. Here, Tyler Adams had the awareness and vision to spot Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs stranded far off his line, inviting an audacious long-range chip. Then, naturally, he had the composure to execute it flawlessly.
4. Martín Zubimendi vs. Nottingham Forest
What a way to score your first Premier League goal! 😮@Arsenal's Martin Zubimendi wins Guinness Goal of the Month with his volley against Nottingham Forest 💫 pic.twitter.com/NthelIkSB7
Arsenal didn't sign Martín Zubimendi for his goal threat, but the Gunners got exceptional value in this moment against Nottingham Forest in September. He finished the Premier League season with five goals, though none came close to matching this one.
3. Dominik Szoboszlai vs. Arsenal
A free-kick of pure brilliance 💫

Liverpool wrapped up a flawless August by snatching a late victory over eventual champions Arsenal at Anfield. Dominik Szoboszlai, arguably the only Reds player who could walk away from this season with his reputation intact, delivered the winner with a pinpoint free kick.
2. Harry Wilson vs. Crystal Palace
The one-two was neat, but the finish was even better! 💫@FulhamFC's Harry Wilson wins December's Guinness Goal of the Month pic.twitter.com/0Y48PPvhCg
Harry Wilson and Raúl Jiménez linked up brilliantly to create this Fulham goal against Crystal Palace. Wilson's clever first touch around the corner, Jiménez's sharp return pass, and then a first-time finish with the outside of the boot.
1. Harrison Reed vs. Liverpool

Harrison Reed's Guinness Goal of the Month for @FulhamFC against Liverpool was as vital as it was special 🤯 pic.twitter.com/foJNoF2ZzL
Fulham appeared to have lost this January 4 clash with Liverpool, having conceded what seemed a decisive goal to Virgil van Dijk in the 94th minute. Then Harrison Reed came off the bench and thundered the ball into the top corner from range, just five days shy of 1,000 since his last Premier League strike.
