Two Clubs Ready to Match Victor Osimhen's €75 Million Price Tag

Two offers have been submitted to Napoli for forward Victor Osimhen that reportedly match the club's valuation of the departing striker.

Osimhen's proposed transfer to Chelsea collapsed during the previous summer window, leading to a temporary move to Galatasaray for one season where he netted 37 goals and provided eight assists across 41 appearances in all tournaments.

Several English Premier League clubs have explored potential deals for Osimhen during this transfer window. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United were all strongly connected with the Nigerian forward earlier in the year, though all three teams seem to have pursued alternative targets.

This situation has created an opportunity for Galatasaray to secure Osimhen permanently. Fabrizio Romano indicates that a fresh offer meeting Napoli's €75 million ($87.7 million) valuation has been presented—structured as €40 million initially plus €35 million across two additional payments.

Matteo Moretto confirms that a competing late offer has been made by persistent suitors Al Hilal. Osimhen was previously courted by Saudi Arabian clubs last summer and was once considered their primary target given Osimhen's substantial salary expectations.

Importantly, neither proposal officially activates Osimhen's €75 million buyout clause. Al Hilal have suggested dividing the transfer fee into two installments, whereas Galatasaray's proposal involves three payments extending through 2027.

Consequently, Napoli maintains authority to approve or decline both proposals. Club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly maintaining his stance on the asking price and recently rejected a slightly lower bid from Galatasaray.

During the early summer period, reports suggested Osimhen was reluctant to join a Saudi Arabian club, preferring instead to move to a top European team. The Premier League was mentioned as his preferred destination for the 26-year-old, but no concrete offers from English clubs have materialized.

Therefore, Osimhen is believed to be willing to continue with Galatasaray, though Napoli's asking price remains the primary obstacle. Should De Laurentiis persist in demanding complete payment of the release clause, any potential agreement may fall through.
