Unai Emery Delivers Perfect Two-Word Comeback About Emiliano Martinez's Aston Villa Future

Signs are pointing toward Emiliano Martínez departing Aston Villa before Monday night's transfer deadline.
The 2022 World Cup winner has allegedly reached a personal agreement with Manchester United. While the deal remains incomplete, rumors intensified when Martínez was excluded from Aston Villa's lineup against Crystal Palace.
When questioned about Martínez's absence and potential future plans before Villa's fixture, Emery addressed the media but declined to provide details, instead delivering a comical response by repeating identical phrases.
"Marco Bizot," referencing Martínez's goalkeeping substitute for Villa, became Emery's sole response as he evaded inquiries about Martínez. Following multiple repetitions of Bizot's name, he simply declared the pre-match interview had concluded.
The Argentine seemed to say goodbye to Aston Villa supporters during the club's last home fixture of the 2024–25 campaign. However, after being unable to finalize a transfer before the season opener, he returned to Villa's starting eleven in their 1–0 loss to Brentford seven days prior.
Following poor goalkeeping displays early in the campaign, Manchester United renewed their pursuit of the experienced shot-stopper and are currently negotiating with Villa to finalize the move before the September 1st cutoff.
Bizot, as expected, took his place in goal versus Crystal Palace. Regrettably for Emery, Villa's new keeper conceded a penalty during the opening period, leaving the team down by one at the break.
