After six thrilling weeks and 104 games, the 2026 World Cup wraps up on Sunday. But if you've caught soccer fever and are desperately searching for more matches across the U.S. this summer, you're in great shape.

English Premier League sides Leeds United, Liverpool and Sunderland, along with EFL Championship club Wrexham, will all take part in the USA Summer Tour 2026, facing off in preseason friendlies across six U.S. cities. The tour kicks off on July 25, less than a week after the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina at MetLife Stadium.

"Wrexham in the USA 2026 brings us back to the United States for the first time since 2024 and in the very year the FIFA World Cup is being hosted on American soil," Wrexham CEO Michael Williamson stated in March.

"The tour offers a wonderful opportunity for our expanding fanbase, particularly those based in the U.S., to watch the team in action across three high-profile fixtures."

Wrexham, co-owned by Hollywood stars Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds, have built a massive following, thanks to their celebrity ownership and the documentary series, Welcome to Wrexham, which launched in 2022.

Season five debuted in May, chronicling the club's historic 2025–26 Championship campaign, in which the Red Dragons fell just two points short of a promotion playoff berth. Since Mac and Reynolds assumed ownership in 2020, Wrexham have risen to remarkable heights. Just three years ago, they were playing in the National League, yet they fought their way to three straight league promotions before narrowly missing out on a fourth.

Liverpool ended fifth in the Premier League last season, securing a place in Champions League competition next year; however, the club had a particularly outstanding run in the 2024–25 season, claiming the Premier League title for a record-equaling 20th English league championship.

Sunderland wrapped up seventh last season, earning a spot in the Europa League group stage, while Leeds finished 14th.
