Victoria Beckham Reveals Health Update After Husband David Hospitalized During Inter Miami Duties

Former football icon Sir David Beckham has recently had surgical treatment for what sources suggest are lingering effects from an old playing injury.
This past Friday, Victoria Beckham, spouse of the ex-Manchester United, Real Madrid and England midfielder, shared on Instagram a photo showing her husband in recovery mode following what looks to be an operation on his arm, which can be seen supported in a sling.
Accompanied by the caring words "Get well soon daddy", Victoria also shared a picture of Beckham displaying a beaded bracelet that reads "get well soon".
While no official statement regarding Beckham's operation has been released, sources suggest the surgery was performed to address a persistent problem with a fractured wrist that he sustained during his active playing period, dating back to May 2003.
A severe tumble during an international friendly match while representing England required Beckham to undergo surgical repair for the injury, but it's reported that a metal screw inserted during the original procedure didn't break down as anticipated, necessitating another surgical intervention for the football legend.
The protective cast he wore following the original injury became so iconic that it was featured on Beckham's wax replica at Hong Kong's Madame Tussauds museum in 2003.
The Inter Miami part-owner has been candid about various injury struggles throughout his distinguished playing years, expressing remorse about his choice to receive multiple pain-management injections, including three administered to his ankle specifically to enable his final match for Real Madrid in 2007.
