Viktor Gyokeres Reveals the Three Arsenal Stars Who Have Caught His Eye

Viktor Gyökeres has expressed his appreciation for three standout Arsenal players while he remains in limbo, awaiting Sporting CP's approval for his potential move to the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have targeted Gyökeres, who has made his desire to join Arsenal crystal clear, though both clubs remain engaged in challenging negotiations for a transfer that could reach approximately €80 million (£69.2 million, $93.5 million).
As Sporting maintains their firm negotiating stance, Gyökeres has boycotted pre-season training to push for the transfer, claiming his current club has reneged on a previous agreement to sell him for less than Arsenal's most recent offer.
Prior to the start of pre-season, Gyökeres spoke with French media outlet L'Équipe in an interview released on Saturday, where he praised Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Gabriel for their performances in this season's Champions League campaign.
"Players in midfield positions like Bernardo Silva, [Mateo] Kovacic at [Manchester] City, or Saka at Arsenal are remarkable to observe," he stated.

"I've also encountered some exceptional defenders, including Gabriel and Saliba. I was fortunate to compete against players of that caliber."
The discussion then shifted to Gyökeres's potential transfer plans, with the Swedish striker acknowledging his ambition to showcase his abilities in the Premier League.
"Perhaps," he responded when questioned about departing Sporting this summer. "That's the nature of football, anything can happen. I'm not dwelling on it, we'll wait and see. If something is meant to occur, it will. What matters most to me is playing for a team that genuinely desires my services.
[The Premier League] represents one of Europe's premier competitions. I spent multiple seasons there without getting the opportunity to feature in a single game. Naturally, it's something I would be eager to experience."
