Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham Pledge Ambitious 2026 Mission to Transform Real Madrid's Future
Real Madrid superstars Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham have both pledged to deliver championships to the Spanish capital in the coming year following what they described as a "disappointing" 2025.
Throughout the past year, the club has grown familiar with finishing in second position. Real Madrid concluded the 2024–25 campaign as runners-up in La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Copa del Rey, while currently sitting four points behind Barcelona in the present league table.
This recent run of underwhelming performances has fallen significantly short of Madrid's standards, to the extent that supporters jeered the team off the field during their year-ending match—a 2–0 triumph against Sevilla—at the Bernabéu.
With the turn to 2026, the squad has resumed training with fresh determination for the season's second half, which they hope will conclude with trophy success.

"We understand that improvement is necessary, ensuring 2026 becomes a superior year for everyone, particularly for Madrid," Vinicius Jr shared with Real Madrid TV.
"I keep gaining valuable experience at this club, alongside these supporters and all the people here. We recognize this hasn't been our strongest year, but we're certain we'll bounce back, claim victories again, and return to the summit.
"For 2026, I wish for good health, peace of mind, and numerous trophies for Madrid because that's what brings joy to us and our fans. Hala Madrid forever."
Bellingham Issues 2026 Rallying Cry for Real Madrid

Bellingham was eager to mirror his teammate's feelings. "For 2026, I'm hoping for championships," the England star told Real Madrid TV.
"Our supporters deserve nothing less. 2025 has been somewhat underwhelming, and we're determined to win titles."
Despite being just 22 years old, Bellingham understands what it means to celebrate victories at Real Madrid. He contributed to the club's domestic and continental success during his first season, and also helped secure the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup at the Bernabéu to close out 2024.
Kylian Mbappé, however, continues to pursue his inaugural major honor since joining the Spanish capital club.
"It's wonderful to see all the Madridistas here as we wrap up the year," the French forward commented at the team's public training session, before receiving a knee injury diagnosis. "Playing alongside this squad is equally special. I wish happiness for everyone, for families, good health, and naturally, championships."
